What Have I Learned During The Quarantine?

Here are the four things I believe God has been teaching me during this pandemic.

Reconciliation. Learning and praying to be a peacemaker in environments where there is a lack of peace and to be one in times of conflict or misunderstanding. Learning to forgive and let go of offenses. (2 Corinthians 5:18) (Matthew 6:14-15)
Faith. Trusting Him in the toughest moments and believing that He is working everything out for my good even when I don’t see it or see a way out at that moment. (Romans 8:28)
Intimacy. Pouring out my whole heart to Him, humbling myself, and being completely honest about everything. Learning vulnerability. (1 Peter 5:7)
Preparation. Learning to be content with His will for my life completely no matter what it is. Making the best use of my time in this season of isolation and singleness by learning and maturing into the women He always intended for me to be. (Philippians 4:11-13) (Ephesians 5:15-17)

During this time of isolation/quarantine, all of us have been affected in some way. Our daily routines have shifted, unemployment has increased, lives have been lost, and the hearts of men are being exposed. We can choose to look at this pandemic either as an obstacle or an opportunity. The world may see it as an obstacle but as believers, we should see this as an opportunity. Our perspective should not be the same as the world’s but different. So I encourage you to take this time to embrace forgiveness and the ministry of reconciliation. Reconcile with those who have offended you and pursue peace. Trust God and know that He is, in fact, working things out for your good even when things look bad (2 Corinthians 5:17). Draw near to God at this moment, read His Word, humble yourself before Him, and pour out your heart to Him in prayer (James 4:8). Remember how far the Lord has brought you and Thank Him for where you are now and continuously pray for His will to be done in your life.
